Between the 21st and 25th of October, theater maker Remi Sarmini will host a dramaturgical workshop at Globe Aroma’s rehearsal space, collaborating with writer Yasser Abu Shaqra, theater maker Anne Bérélowitch, dramaturg Henning Bochert, and artist and activist Ahmed Mourad Khanfir.
Together, they will work towards developing a touring model of ‘translation in the act,’ adapting Sarmini’s previous piece, Honey, Sun and Gold, into a multilingual version. The process will involve the creative integration of live translation into the production, using local actors to contribute to the artistic and dynamic nature of the performance.
